Grant Policy Committee This GPC, a committee of the U.S. Chief Financial Officers Council, has responsibility for coordinating government-wide streamlining and simplification activities for federal grants and cooperative agreements. Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Sync Google Drive, Dropbox and Evernote Do you use Google Drive, Dropbox and Evernote? I do! I love these tools and services. I can't imagine drafting proposals or strategic plans without Google Drive or submitting federal grant applications without Dropbox. Research, articles, and support materials are kept with a click of a button in Evernote. I had a problem… I would save somethings in Dropbox, some in Evernote and others in Google Drive. Jo's TechTips: Google Tasks, Google Canvas I am always looking for better ways to manage my projects. I like Google Tasks because: I can manage projects and tasks in Gmail I use and share documents and projects through Google Drive (and sync many items with my Dropbox). I like the Google/Chrome integration across my Adroid devices and my PC. HUD OFFICE CLOSURES U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to close 16 of its 80 offices and 900 HUD employees may have to move or change jobs. The HUD Office closures will save the agency between $110 and $150 million over a 10-year period. The savings will begin to be realized in FY 2014. WHY IS HUD CLOSING 16 OFFICES: HUD, like other Federal agencies is balancing program delivery needs against the budgetary resources available to the Department. TweetChat offered a clear and an easy way to participate in a Twitter chat. Then we saw TweetChat’s alert stating they will most likely be unable to continue to provide their services! WHAT?
